How to compress images
- Drop up to 40 JPG, PNG or WebP images, up to 25 MB each.
- Choose the level: Light for print and portfolios, Medium for websites and social media, Strong for the smallest file.
- If the images are huge, scale them down on the long side to 2560, 1920 or 1280 pixels.
- Download the files one by one or as a ZIP.
Why files get 2-5 times smaller
JPGs are re-encoded with mozjpeg, which produces a noticeably smaller file than most phones and editors for the same look. PNGs are reduced by color count, the same approach TinyPNG uses: the image stays a PNG with transparency but weighs a fraction of the original. WebP is encoded by your browser.
When you need an exact size
If a website has a hard limit, use compress image to KB instead: you pick 100 KB, 200 KB or 1 MB and we tune the quality to fit. To switch formats, there's the image converter.

Will I see a difference?
