How to remove a background

The first run takes a little longer while your browser downloads the AI model. After that it loads from the cache and each photo takes seconds. If your computer has a GPU, the tool uses it; without one it switches to the CPU on its own.

For online stores and marketplaces
Pro Photo adds ready-made sizes: 900×1200, 1200×1600 and a 1200×1200 square, with the product centered at 86% of the frame. You can also put your own image behind the object and add a soft shadow under a product. Previewing these settings is free, downloading them needs Pro Photo, from $2.99 a day with a one-time payment.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model is downloaded into your browser and runs on your device.
What photos work best?
Ones where the subject stands out clearly: a person, a product, a pet. Hair and fur are handled well, but a plain background always gives the cleanest edges.
Why is the first run slow?
Your browser downloads the AI model once. After that it's cached and the next photos are fast.
