How to convert WebP to JPG
- Drop up to 50 images, up to 50 MB each: WebP, PNG, JPG, AVIF or BMP.
- Choose the output: JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Optionally scale down to 2560, 1920 or 1280 pixels on the long side.
- Click Convert and download the files or a ZIP.
Which format to pick
- JPG opens everywhere: old apps, websites, documents. Transparent areas become white.
- PNG is lossless and keeps transparency: logos, screenshots, images with text. More on the JPG to PNG page.
- WebP is lighter than JPG at the same look, good for websites.
The other way works too: PNG to JPG shrinks screenshots and photos that were saved as PNG.
Why won't my WebP open?
Images saved from websites are often WebP, and older versions of Word, photo viewers and many upload forms don't accept it. Converting to JPG fixes that in seconds.
iPhone HEIC photos
Most browsers can't open HEIC yet, so the converter won't take them. On an iPhone, go to Settings, Camera, Formats and choose Most Compatible to save new photos as JPG.
Free and private

FAQ
Is quality lost when converting?
Not with PNG, which is lossless. JPG and WebP are saved at high quality, so you won't see a difference.
What happens to a transparent background in JPG?
JPG doesn't support transparency, so it turns white. To keep it, choose PNG or WebP.
How many images can I convert?
Up to 50 at a time, with no daily limit.
Can I convert AVIF to JPG?
Yes, as long as your browser opens AVIF. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all do.
