How to make a slideshow with music
- Drop up to 30 photos: JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Click Add music and choose a track: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG or FLAC.
- Under How long to show each photo, pick Fit the music: photos are spread evenly across the track.
- Choose a format, a transition and an optional opening title.
- Watch the preview and click Make video.
Matching music to photos
The track sets the length of the video. With Fit the music, each photo gets the track length divided by the number of photos. For a lively pace, 2-3 seconds per photo works well: 20 photos for a one-minute song. For a calm tribute, 4-5 seconds. If the song is longer than you need, trim it in any audio editor first or add more photos. We fade the music out at the end so the video doesn't cut off mid-note.

If your photos mix portrait and landscape, choose Whole photo: each one sits uncropped on a blurred copy of itself. Fill the frame covers the screen but crops the edges.

About music and copyright
For a family video, any song you like is fine. If the video goes on social media, the platform may mute it or limit its reach because of copyrighted music. For public posts, music from the platform's own library or royalty-free tracks is safer.
